SERVIOCEAN was born with the vocation to serve in the process of charge and discharge merchant ships in general. It initiated its activities in the National Industry in 1989, and has been part of Grupo-Ocean. It is dedicated to serve in the market as physical mobilization and storage of merchandises, through the association of functions with the quality and flexibility that guarantee the satisfaction of the client. Servi Ocean ensures certified secure equipments that have been inspected to meet a high level of safety and security. It also preserves the enviromental safety. Being in contact with the port activities allows to realized the great necessities that exists in this area; one of them was that there was no security at the time of the charge and discharge; looking for an improvement and a greater security in these processes, begins the acquisition of excellent equipment and machinery that allowed the company to perform the operations on time and as well with less risks. In 1995 it obtained the administration of the Grain Terminal of the Port of Maracaibo and the first zone granted in rent for the storage of containers.
